Area Command in ACAD 2013

Hi there i have a problem with the area comand in 2013LT as it lets me click  to select the points and create a region, but then when i hiit return to close the command it asks me to select another poin (arc/length/undo)

Cant figure out why it wont give me te area.

Are you using your mouse' right-click button for <enter>?
Does the problem occur if you actually hit the <enter> key on the keyboard?
What if your right-click and select EXIT while in the command?
