survey question

Has anyone figured out a way to rotate a symbol based on a secondary survey shot? For example; first shot on a traffic signal mast arm, second shot towards the direction the mast arm is hanging. tia

Hi, "Stringer" has this functionality. You can base the rotation on either the previous or next shot. -- Laurie Comerford CADApps www.cadapps.com.au "mtaylor" wrote in message news:416d973e$1_1@newsprd01... > Has anyone figured out a way to rotate a symbol based on a secondary > survey shot? There is a routine in Survey to Plan, Rotate Symbols to Curb, that will rotate all selected blocks so that they are perpendicular to the closest curb line. There are 2 other rotate routines, rotate to same shot and roatate with + or - in descriptor. Other routine include joining guy wires to poles and many more . Survey to Plan is part of the Survey Tools suite of routines that enhances LDD for surveyors.
