I've added points to a drawing through LDD but now the database is not recognizing them. I select the points and there are 835 Civil Point Objects but when I try to add them to a point group LDD won't recognize them at all. I need to get these points in a point group to make a surface and I don't want to go back and re-insert them all again manually!!!! Please help!

under points --->check points----->modify project---> check the add unregistered points to database. and you should be good to go
