error 1335 acad1.cab file

I have a corrupt acad1.cab file which gives me an error 1335. Does anybody know how to fix it or where I can fix the corrupt file.

Hey havasubeachbums;

I would 1st attempt a Repair of Land Desktop to see if that fixes this
issue.

This will depend on whether your System Administrator allows the Users to
function at this level.

Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs;
Click Land Desktop;
Click Change;
Repair should be the middle option on the next screen.

Is this a Network Deployment, or an install from the CD?

Is your Virus Scanner off during the install?

And finally - which version are we discussing here?

I would suggest that if this were turned off this time around you might be
in store for success.

Though if you're still having issues during the install this time, I might

error 1335 the cabinet file (acad1.cab) requird for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used .this could indicate anetwork error an error reading from cd rom or aproblem with this package

Sometimes with disk problems you can copy the entire CD (or DVD) to the
harddrive and run it from there.

A .cab file is something like a zip file.
