eDuplicate Key error

I am having an issue where I am receiving an error message "eDuplicate Key". Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this and how to go about correcting it?

Hey Dave;

What causes the error message, i.e., it consistently pops up while
performing what command?

Or are you able to pin it down at all?

It occurs after we receive a survey from a recent release of LDD that has been converted to AutoCAD 2002 / LDD 3 format and begin working on it. Certain objects will be in the drawing when we begin working on it, then they will suddenly be gone. We turn on and thaw every layer, but they are nowhere to be found. We audit and purge the drawing then attempt to re-insert these objects. This is when we get the error.

Sounds like the 2K4 and above Objects are losing their ability to be "read"
through the Conversion Process. Etransmit often has this effect I've
noticed.

Which "certain objects" are you losing? Contours and Points?

Since you mention a "survey" did the firm provide you with a Point List in
ASCII format also?

They most likely will need to explode the Contour Objects to Polylines for
you.

Thanks, I was afraid that was my only option until we upgrade. I was just hoping someone had another idea.
Thanks again.
