changing point label datum globally

I have 2 old projects that had gotten broken up due to construction costs. Now the 2 parts of separete projects are bing combined. 1 of the projects is from 2002 and the other is from 2010. They are adjacent but there is a 0.17 difference in elevation.

I know how to change the elevation of the points. But, the labels will not update. I'm trying to avoid having to cleanup the elevation labels for 1000' of road over again.

Does anyone know how to change the datum of the text without manually changing each elevations.
