auto-stack - off!?

in mtext editing mode, can anyone tell me how i turn the auto-stack off completely? i use fractions often, but have to select each one and unstack it. you know, counter-productive...thanx.

Open a Mtext object with a fraction already stacked. Highlight the stacked
fraction, right-click & choose Properties. Click the AutoStack button and
you will find what you need.

Right-click the offending fraction and you
should see Properties. Click that and you will see this (or your version's
dialog box) - see image below:

The AutoStack button is what you're looking
for.

Insoluble, didn't you read the EULA? Finding that control is a secret. If I
tell you how I know about it the Autodesk sharp shooters will let a barrage
of bullets rip into my office window & I'm not wearing my
bullet-proof-jacket ;o

Okay I'm feeling a little giddy today. I most likely learned that one here.
