The functionally for those have been added to the "Civil 3D Land Desktop
Companion 2008" DVD that ships with Civil 3D.

Thanks Peter :
according to my information in c3d 2008 have been integrated civil design
and survey. Therefore in PIPES the appropriate commands will exist to
determine the parameters that I have indicated him.

Yes I know they are intergrated with Civil3D, but we still use LDD. It is
not intergrated with those, those menus & toolbars are unselectable in LDD.

You have got to be kidding me!!! It took me 3 hours yesterday to figure out how to set 5 points for my surveyors to re-stake a lot. I guess I'll be uninstalling 2008, reinstalling 2007, and probably be switching to another vendor in the future. BTW, a lot of the help menus give false instructions (i.e. refer to menus that do not exist, etc.). Also, why can't you print from the Point Group Manager anymore. You have to copy all info to the clipboard and paste into Excel to print. This is too much BS for me to live with! My suggestion, ACAD needs to maintain LDD with survey and civil capabilities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm fairly sure the Deskers would rather retain their existing client base
rather than having them "jump ship".

I would then figure that they would at least mention how to acquire the
needs a firm has to produce with C3D?

Their "replacement" for LDT, I mean.

I can thoroughly understand your predicament in these matters palhaco - the
work has still got to go out the door!

Exactly program are you talking about? You posted in the LDT group, but I
just printed points from the PGM in LDT2008 just as I have done in previous
versions.

What help gives false instructions? Specifically, not generalized.....

C3D LDT Companion DOES maintian the survey & civil functions.

Maybe you need to take a step back to see what program you are trying to
use? Because it sounds like you are loading C3D and expecting it to be LDT,
which it's not. Yes, the naming is confusing C3D vs C3D LDT Companion, but 3
hours? Now who's kidding who?

...and if this is C3D that you are trying to get a printout of the points
from, use the Toolbox Reports which will open a HTML file that can be
printed.

Todd, if you are in LDT 2008 what was on two separate disks are integrated into the one disk for LDT. So all you should have to do is switch your workspace to the appropriate setting Civil Design or Survey and you will have the functionality.

And if you're still having these problems palhaco, it might be beneficial
for you to go to the Civil 3D WebCast archives and find today's edition in
about a week or so.

They will be highlighting Survey Functionality in this edition, so you may
be able to get the time you mentioned reduced considerably?

Just hoping to encourage you a little, along these lines.
