WSCommCntr1.exe

There is a file entitled WSCommCntr1.exe located in my:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared
Two CAD Operators' computers have been bogging down and not allowing LDT to open up because this .exe file is running somehow. This has never been a problem for me in the past. At the same time that LDT is not opening correctly, we press Ctrl, Alt, and Delete to get the Task Manager. In the Processes tab, we found the .exe file and ended the process. Once we do this, LDT opens up without any problems. Any reason why this .exe file starts automatically running, and any idea how to prevent it from automatically starting up?

Most people here think this control center is useless. I usually just
delete it. (or rename it.). The only downside that I have found is that
when I do a repair you have to get your installation disk out.

but is there a reason why it starts up on some computers and not others?

As far as I know, the Communication Center is part of LDD. However, if some
computers aren't running LDD or Map, then maybe it won't show up.

Normally, I just kill the process when my LDD bogs down on a fresh session.

Can't this be permanently shut down with the cad manger tools (CAD Manger
Control Utility), and select disable communication center?

On the CD.

Note that this application only creates a .REG file that will have to be
run on each client machine.

You can also disable CC during the creation of an AdminImage if you have
more installs to do.

Did disable all communications in Manager Control Utility, still getting debug error message (on my developer computer):
Runtime Error!
Program: C:...
R6025
-pure virtual function call

Renaming (WSCOMMCNTR1.EXE_) giving another error message dialog box at start-up LDD:
UE retrieving COM class WSCommCntr1

Does somebody know how to shut down those useless messages?
