Terrain Model Explorer

Hi,
I am Using LDD 2006 and am getting an error when I try to add breaklines.

Here is the error I am getting: General Exception occurred, caught in acrxEntryPoint() in AecCivilDtm (DT).cpp

Also, I have tried to go through and add groups of breaklines to try to find the error. In the sections I have tried so far, it allows me to add breaklines but when I go to delete them it always leaves one of them that I am unable to delete. Does anyone have any idea on what the problem may be? Any help is appreciated.

Did you try searching the Autodesk KB?

If so, you should have found

What is an Autodesk KB?

I get this all the time in 2004. Sounds like it hasn't been fixed yet.

Sometimes it does - true.

Just not all the time though.

Probably you're familiar with it's abilities - hence your use of the term
"many". 🙂

"...contains answers to many problems..."

Never said it answers ALL problems.

I guess this got stuck someplace it maybe shouldn't have;
snip>blindly

Everybody has their own "level of experience" - which may not equal
everybody else's.

Maybe something "untoward" had happened recently to you, and produced that
particular word - at that moment in time.

I don't know where you are going with all of that....

Let me put it another way:

Many people open their newsreader (or web browser I suppose) and post
away instead of:

+ Pressing F1
+ Searching the Autodesk KB
+ Searching the Autodesk discussion groups
+ Searching the CAD usenet groups.
+ Searching other discussion groups such as AUGI
etc., etc.

Note that I didn't say everybody, but it happens daily.

I think you've discovered why the Moderators have vanished from these
confines!

Even though they've not been seen in quite awhile, it seems we've stayed
orderly.

And I can detect that there are a majority of folks who state that they've
already been through their Help files "prior" to seeking help here.

We're always going to get our share of those who "just post" without any
prerequisites whatsoever, but that's just human nature.

Take the "good with the bad" and get on with life (and Projects).

For your information I did look for that on the Knowledge Base just did not have any success in finding it. Thank you Mr. Swain for giving me the information I needed. I think we need to stop arguing back and forth and use this site to benefit everybody. Thanks.

I just found the Discussion Groups to search.

Our system administrator hides the manuals as she got annoyed that they kept disapearing. Ie people were using them.

I will try the other link posted as problems occur, but is Autodesk doing much in the support for 2004?

I tried looking up the user groups, but could only find an architect using R13 DOS local. Then when I tried to join it said I had already been on the site 2 times & wouldn't let me back. It said that it had sent a registration to my e-mail, but I never got it.
