Hello All
I am trying to utilize the attribute function of our survey data collectors by adding attributes like the width of a road or the depth of a manhole to the point data that is collected in the field. The problem I am having is importing that additional data into Land Desktop. Do I need to create an XDREF to import that data as text or is there some other function I need to activate? Thanks for your help.
No one replies because there is no efficient way to bring this data in. You can use the Data Connection with MySQL and connect it with an access database of the parsed points with attributes, but it's clunky and an unreasonable way to use the information. The attribute data needs to be seen in a similar way to shapefile node attributes (in the properties dialog), while preserving the AEC point data in the project database.
