Ok, one last question

I've been looking through the help files in autocad developers.chm, and i can't find anything even remotly about object data, and vba. Is it possible to mess with object data through vba, and if so could someone post an example of updating object data, or even just pulling values out of object data?

Thank you

The entier LDT project model is open (well, most of it anyway,) you have to
find the LDD help files though, it's not in the standard help.

Thank you so much for your replies. I looked through the mentioned help files and i didn't find much about object data, just a little about it in migrating, is it called something else in the help files? Am i missing something big here? Thanks again.

Try "AcMapAtm.chm" - it's not part of the "LDT" object model, but rather "AcadMap".

Hi,

Have you attached the relevant libraries to your
project ?  If so you can use the object viewer.

Thanks. I shoulda recognized the nature of his question in the first place.
I know next to nothing about VBA. I wonder if the ActiveX methods are more/less
complete than the (ade-xxx) AutoLisp functions.

Hey all-

I just found out that object data, and most other data we use isn't even a part of ldd. As mentioned by rk mcswain object data is not part of the ldd module, it is in the map module. lld is the thing that does projects and stuff like that, map is the underlying stuff with database linking, object data and the likes. Hope this helps someone in the future, and again thanks all, and i'll bugger the map people from now on.
