I have recently purchased a new computer from Dell. The new computer has the new Intel Quad Core 3.00Ghz O.C. 3.67Ghz processor with 4MB of corsair RAM. In discussion my purchase with an aquatint of mine I was told that AutoCAD does not utilize the Quad Core technology and this is an over kill for AutoCAD and a wasted expense. Fortunately I use my computer for Graphic design and web development as well so I am fine with the purchase but I would like to know if there is in validity to this persons statement. Does AutoCAD take advantage of the Quad Core technology?
