Importing Field Book

When I import a field book is it possible to have the point number, elevation, and description come in on separate layers? I want all my point numbers on a layer, all my elevations on another layer, and all my descriptions on another layer. Is this possible? Thanks

Yes, but you have to use the old Softdesk Point Block (which will reduce
functionality). Make that the current point label style and insert and
you'll get the old point blocks.

Look into using the old Softdesk Point Block or Point Labels. The LDD Point
Object does not do this.

Hey Jambruins;

Maybe along with my two other "compadres" comments you might question if the "old ways" are still the "best ways" to handle this situation.

See the attached PNG file for a picture of what I'm talking about.

All done with Civil Point Objects.

The Elevations "only" are Natural Ground Points.
