good news, bad news...

we have new computers.

I'm still using my old program, LDD Companion 2008, until I have time to learn and switch to Civil 3d 2011.

My problem: I am trying to install LDD Companion 2008 Service Pack 2 to my old program which is running in virtual pc mode but I keep getting an error message stating it can't find the program.  Any ideas?

I got that same message.  I'm running 2009 Land Desktop Companion for Civil 3d on a windows 7 machine.  My problem was that I was trying to install a service pack (2.1) from the Land Desktop page.  The correct service pack is for "Autodesk Civil 3d Land Desktop Companion 2009".  In my case that was the difference and the service pack installed correctly.
