i would update your print driver from HP web site. most error messages occur from old drivers and software. while your at it, update your LDD and OS to latest service packs and hot fixes

You have to turn nesting off on the plotter. This is a common feature that
allows the plotter to determine if it can fit two or more plots on the
roll/sheet to save paper. On the 1050, I think you have to go to the Setup
menu & Queue & Nesting Options should be listed.

And I imagine that counts down.

In the printer settings (on the machine itself), there is a menu that allows
you to turn on and off the nesting. *goes into print room and checks*

In the menu, go to the bottom icon, which is the "Printer Setup Menu". Hit
enter, and the top menu is "Queueing & Nesting...". Hit enter, scroll down
to "Nesting=", and if it's on, hit enter, select off, hit enter, then hit
the "TOP" button on the machine. That will turn off the nesting.
