I'm doing a subdivision of an iregular shaped lot. I have a point on the back line that I know will be the start of the dividing line. Is there a way to draw a line from this point to hit the front property line by inputting an exact area that I need the newly created lot to be? I.E. I need the Lot to be 125,000 SF, can I draw a line from the back to a point on line in the front that will give the divided lot an area of exactly 125,000 S.F.?

Use the Swing on Line command to size a parcel by swinging a bearing line from a known point along a line. Original parcel lines must be present in the drawing in order to use this command. For more information, see Drawing Parcels.
