Hey Im writing on belalf of somebody, im relatively new here so please dont be impatient . He is useing Autocad Map/ Land Desktop 2009. He imported some points(ascii file) and  created an attribute table. He has selected attach data and i attached to all points the atributes he needed. when he tried to export them as Shapefile (He did all the settings layer, table select)  autocad dispalys no entities to export? The points have XYZ and if i click edit attributes they are attached. I tried to help and if i create a node trough map-digitize then it exists and it is exported? any ideas how to convert the points to nodes so they can be exported ? or any other way to resolve it? Thank you very much for your time

If you were to consider third party software, the MapWorks Points module contains Shapefile Points Read/Write routines that handle node SHP files with the POINT, DESC and other fields.  Works inside LDT/LDC 2007-2009 and work directly with AECC POINTS.
