Hi,
Not sure if this was covered before or not. I am working on plans using AutoCAD Land Desktop 2004 and have a Civil plan set with several paperspace tabs and several Layer States.
Ech tab has its own Layer State and each time you select a tab (e.g. Exisitng Features), you have to restore the Exisitng Feature Layer State for that tab. Then going to the next tab (e.g. Grading), you have to restore the Grading Layer State for that tab.
My question is, can you save the Layer State setting for each tab so when you select that particular tab the Layer State is already set for that tab and you don't have to go into the Layer State Manager to restore the L.S. for that tab?
Hope that makes sense. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mark
I guess 2004 didn't have the ability to freeze layers in individual viewports. So go to http://www.dotsoft.com/freestuff.htm and get LOSWITCH.DVB. The layer state and layout tab names will have to be the same.
