Does anyone know of a way other than using Vibrant Graphics SoftEngine
display driver product to get the following:
Customizable Color Palette: redefine the RGB values of AutoCAD's standard
colors independent of Windows.
We had been using SoftEngine with R14, but I think the company no longer
exists, so I don't know if they have a new product for A2K.
What we would like to do is be able to somehow change the RGB values
of some of the autocad display colors. For example: change autocad's
color #1 which is red on the screen and make it show up as say green
instead. SoftEngine used to allow us to do this by changing the RGB
values for a selected autocad color#. This way we could better see autocad
colors on the screen that would otherwise be very difficult to see with a
black
background.
SoftEngine has had this technology for years, I 'm not sure why Autodesk
has not tried to incorporate this into their product, It's very helpful.
If anyone out there has figured out how to do this, please let me know.

Hi Barry:
Visit www.vibrant.com for SoftEngine info. They say that they don't see
the potential for SoftEngine for A2K, though.
Good luck, Skyler Mills

Would like a response from Autodesk on this issue.
