Arcs not parallel to UCS

Hello,

Often times when I am trying to join arcs to a polyline with pedit, I get an error stating "1 was not parallel to the UCS"

The start, center, and end Z coordinates for the line area all zero, and the polyline is at elevation zero.

Anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks,
Brent McAnney

When you list the object, do you see a line "Extrusion Direction ..."?

If this is a one time shot, zip and email me "dotson [at] dotsoft.com"
the drawing and I'll fix it with ToolPac's UCS Fix Parallel tool.

Hey BMCanney;

I wasn't about to write "Hey BM".

Can you see the UCS Icon in the lower left corner?

If not, use UCSICON command, type A (for All), enter, and ON, enter.

Now does it look like the normal World UCS Icon?

HTH
