Anybody else having any problems with LDT4?!?

We've just installed LDT4 along side LDT3.
Both have current service packs installed.

Eveything was honky-dory until just a little
while ago and now, IF I can even open a drawing, when I save it in LDT4 then try
to  re-open it, all I get is a Fatal Error...EVERY TIME!!

A little help please!

LDT3, LDT4, WinXP Pro with 512MB Ram.

Are you running the batch file(s) noted in the LDT 2004 read-me file when
running a side-by-side installation?

Scott:
Thanks for the response.

That may be part of the problem.
The other part might be that I can't "see" any of the files that are
installed.
Our IT department has essentially hidden the C:\ drive, therefore, I can't
access the files.
I can't access the read-me file. I can't access the acad.pgp file to
customize it because it's on some server somewhere along with all of my
profile information.
I can't run a BAT file because it's a "restricted program". *&^% I can't
even double-click on an HLP or CHM file to open it!!!!

Some days I don't even know why I get out of bed.

Scott:
It gets better.
I also have ABS4 installed on this PC and I can open the "problem" drawing
in ABS4 without ANY problems or error messages.
Go figure.

I would remind the IT gang that you're running $10-15k of software and their
unwillingness to cooperate is leading to a serious decrease in productivity
you'd be happy to discuss with the owner 😉
