Oceanside are you sure the "current" status of the Points>Points Settings,
Insert tab, Insertion Elevation portion of the Dialog Box isn't set to a
Fixed Elevation of zero, instead of the Actual Elevation?
I always use the Actual Elevation, with a setting of -13.00 for the "If No
Elevation Use:" just above the Fixed Elevation BTW, but that's just me. ;0)

After rotating points, checking points, modifying project & drawing, I no
longer show an elevation for the civil point object when selected. I'm
getting a "0" elevation where before rotation I got the elevation (points
inserted by "actual elevation"). Point List looks good. I updated the
point group and rebuilt my surface. I closed and reopened project. What
am I missing?
