ADOBE PARTIAL CUI ISSUES

I just updated my Adobe Professional 7.0 and it has embedded two Adobe drop down menus and adds a toolbar every time I start a new session of LDD. I have tried to erase the partial cui with no luck. I also deleted the folder under Adobe that contains the files and icons for the toolbars, but it seems to replicate when I open the program again, appearing back in the folder in its entirety when I open a new session. I can do a cuiload and unload them, but I would rather not have to deal with them every time I run LDD.

I don't have Adobe 7 but... have you tried to run Adobe's setup routine from
the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs dialog? I would look here first and
then try to "add or remove features" or "customize" the setup.

Hey Dan;

I don't guess I could ask you to attempt to "get used to it"?

This is the EXACT convention I recall from my days of using it in
conjunction with 2Ki.

But you brought my current LDT 2K6 setup back to mind...

I've got Adobe 6.0 Professional installed on my PC, but I never see the
Adobe icons - as I used to in the past when I had the same setup re. LDT
2Ki. Until I run through the Plot sequence, and then it is one of my
Printer/plotter choices.

And in asking the System Manager if this were possible to exclude the icons,
his response was that they run simultaneously with AutoCAD from his
experience.

Worked beautifully. Thanks a lot.

I could turn off the icons manually, or on for that matter, by right clicking on the screen border, and there was an Adobe category with one toolbar able to be toggled.
