Some body help! I use alot of splines. I first draw a pline and then pedit it into a spline. At this point all is fine. When I trim, extend or split the spline it ends up with many thousands of points eventho I have not used anywhere near that many to create it. My settings, splinesegs in particular, seem to be correct according to the help file. So what causes the spline to go viral when I change it and how can I change this?

You can fix that if you have LT2011: just select, right-click and explore.
If you only have LT2010 or lower, you will need to redraw. I believe
splinesegs must have a negative setting which will do what you want.
