Hi all,
Just bought an autoCAD LT upgrade, clicked on the download link, installed the amakai downloader and click on the 32-bit version. It shows the progress bar, asks me where to put the file and then afterwards, under the download bar it says "0/?" and then says "File not found". It does the same thing when i try to restart it and from a different computer.
I have tried turning of the firewall just incase, but no joy. HELP PLEASE!
Thanks,
Joe
What is your OS?
And is it 32 bit?

i tried here: http://www.autodesk.com/products/autodesk-autocad-lt/free-trial
doesn't look like there is a broswer download option for LT
usually there is an option for it

Hmmm, I just tried downloading the trial version to see what would happen ( because i take it you can upgradefrom the trial version if you have a serial number?)
It comes up with this after i have downloaded the installer and started trying to download autoCAD (image attached)
Hi JBartlett3,
Sorry to hear you're having problems with your download.
Please, disable your firewall and download the program directly from this link.
Let me know how that goes, please.
thats the browser download method i was looking for

I didnt try Firefox, i must admit. I did try chrome and IE though. should have worked on one of those two, but oh well, it's downloading now.... 8 mins to go!
I cant even get to the page to start downloading through my company network.
Tried asking for a disk to get my paid for upgrade from and still no luck. Great....
Are you getting stuck at the download manager install?
Does your ofice network allow over-the-wire software installation?
Seems to be working just fine from the download page, see attachments.
I also wanted to point out that most 2014-2011 software title can be accessed with the standard Browser Download method, in case the alternatives are blocked by internet / firewall restrictions, via Matt, our Virtual Assistant.
I have downloaded the autocad installation file that was posted on here, but how do I use that to upgrade from 2010 if i dont have a product key?
Many thanks,
Joe
2014: Product keys for Autodesk products is public knowledge

Did you mean actual serial number instead? You need to get that direct from Autodesk (see employee who posted above you).

Hi Joe,
Feel free to send me a Private Message (click on my @philip.s profile name and then "Send this user a private message") if you need me to locate your license info, or contact our License Assistance team for direct support.
Thanks Jim / confirming receipt.
As there appears to be an backend order issue, I would recommend that you install and utilize the 2014 software in trial mode for the time being while we troubleshoot.
My apologies for the inconvenience and please me know if I can be of additional assistance in the mean time.
