upgrade autocad lt 2008 to autocad

halo. i want to ask , can i upgrade autocad LT 2008 to autocad.. because i want to using 3D for my work. or i need to buy new autocad ?

please somebody help me..

thank you... so as i know autocad LT cannot do the 3D drawing right?

it juz for 2D only.. correct me if im wrong..

There is no solid modeling or rendering in LT.

OP what sort of 3D? Inventor will do machine parts and assemblies, while Revit will do entire buildings. You can get these along with AutoCAD within suites. You can get more basic versions in "LT" versions of these suites, that come with AutoCAD LT but don't have all the functionality of the full versions. Is this something you are looking to buy for yourself? Check and compare on the website, and/or talk to your reseller.
