setting up path....

Could anyone tell me how and where to setup the starting directory...

Yes....Right click AcadLT Desktop Icon

Select Properties/Shortcut tab

Edit the 'Start in' Field


There may be other ways but this one works.

that will only change the starting poing of
autocad... I meant when you click on the open drawing and change it from autocad
to something else... sorry I should have said that...

REMEMBERFOLDERS if you are using an 'i' product needs to be
turned off (set to 0, zero). Then restart AutoCAD, and it should default to the
open file location when AutoCAD has to access your drive.

 

BTW, the more information you give about your setup, and the more detailed
an explanation of what you are trying to do, goes a long way in helping group
users help you. Try it for a change *grin*

normally I am the one helping people I just

IF YOU HAVE A SHORT CUT ON YOU'RE DESK TOP FOR OPENING LT,
RIGHT CLICK ON THIS A NICE DIALOGUE BOX WILL APPEAR ALLOWING YOU TO CHANGE
THE START DIRECTORY
