change a drawing using named plot styles to colour dependent plot styles

Is it possible to change a drawing using named plot styles (.stb) to colour dependent plot styles (.ctb) within the drawing itself? The variable 'pstylemode' comes up as read-only. Thanks in advance

I tried CONVERTCTB also.  Nothing happens. It is an unknown command.

I tried CONVERTPSTYLES.  Unrecognized, but PSTYLEMODE tell me "= 0 (read only)"

I am using 2012 AutoCAD LT for mac.

Help!  I have a deadline!

Well that would have been pertinent information.

LT for PC and LT for Mac do have different commands in some areas
