autocad lt 2011 cannot save drawing

windows 7 using autocad lt 2011 cannot save drawing, compputer freezes each time you try to save.

Start AutoCAD/LT alone, then start RECOVER command to access and fix the file. PURGE and SAVE (even save to a different drive, perhaps like your own PC) when it is done loading.

Are you trying to save the file to a different location, like your local harddrive? If yes, then you seem to have a system issue as your screenshot is showing Windows hanging the app to prevent a system crash.

FYI, there is no such thing as QSAVE in LT: SAVE is the command and it does not work the same way as SAVE in Full AutoCAD, it only works like QSAVE does (save a letter when typing).
SAVE in AutoCAD, not LT, allows you to write your open DWG file to another location without ever leaving your open file (not to be confused with SAVEAS).
