XCLIP XREF SETVAR

Hi all

After xclipping an xref and then moving around drawing area, the whole drawing appears once again, (temporarily) which covers other parts of drawing, avoiding ability to line up items.

Does anyone know the 'setvar' to switch this off, as it was in older versions?

Thanks.

What "old" version let you "switch it off"? and what command or variable was used for this "switch"?

In older versions, (can't recall which versions) the default was already set, when moving an xclipped xref, the entire drawing did not appear, only the xclippled portion was displayed, so there was no need to switch off, so I'm unfamiliar with what the variable was.

Not sure how 'old' you are going back, but it's behaved as you describe it now for quite a few versions now. Was hoping you had a secret variable I had forgotten about... 😞
