Wipeouts print with hatch????

I use several blocks that contain wipeouts so that floor hatches will be 'hidden' by the block above. ie: toilets, furniture...
When I plot the wipeouts are filled with tiny dots that look like hatch. Nothing shows up in the plot preview.
Anyone Have any ideas?
Thanks

Some printers and plotters just can't do wipeouts, and some
require additional settings in their drivers.

So... what you got??????????

I know the HP600 series (including the 650c) can't do
wipeouts, mine did not back in the day. You need the HP700
series (discontinued as well) or higher.

Not sure about the other printer.

Explore other ideas in the print-plot discussion areas under
the AutoCAD link on this server, see what other folks with
your hardware have chosen to do (if anything).

Check your plot style settings, and/or your choice of driver: they
work fine with my HP700 and Windows System driver.
