Window XP Pro. and Vista with AutoCAD LT 2005

I have AutoCAD LT 2005 with operating system XP Pro. and have a new Laptop with Vista what are my options for running AutoCAD LT 2005 on a Vista Operating Systme?

Run the install in compatibility mode. once installed go to directory
where installed and set all the exe's to run in compatibility mode. May
work, may not. If it does work, it may crash frequently, perform slowly,
or some particular functions may not behave exactly as expected. Based
on my experiences with Vista and other software, it should perform
almost identically.
