User defined button disappears

I created a user defined button to be associated with the FlattenAll macro. It is located in a custom toolbar, and works great. But next time I start AutoCAD, the button is gone. When I open aclt.mns, it is there. But even reloading aclt.mns will not make it appear. Clues??

The toolbar is still there. Only the new button disappears.

The button disappears, or just the image you made and did not manually
referenced in the MNS file to an actual BMP file residing in your LT program
folder (or wherever it is in the LT search path you store all your BMP
toolbar button image files)?

Yes, the whole button disappears. Not even the blank image is there. This is the text that precedes the macro in the MNS file:
ID_UserButton_3 [_Button("2Dconverter", "ICON6500.bmp", "ICON_16_BLANK")]

Does it have anything to do with the "ICON_16_BLANK"?

Rename the image button to something recognizable, place it in the LT
program folder, re-write your button code in the MNU file to be

ID_MyButton [_Button("2Dconverter", "2dconv.bmp", "2dconv.bmp")]

See if that helps.

It makes no difference if the code is added to the MNS or MNU file, or whether the BMP is in the LT folder or the Support folder. I appreciate your help.

Perhaps if you posted the entire section of your aclt.mns file for this
toolbar and all the bitmap files for the toolbar it would help. The
files should be posted in the customer files group. With the files we
can test the toolbar. without we can only guess. Problems like this
are usually either a bitmap name problem or a bitmap file location
problem.

I've had on-going problems with buttons turning to happyfaces.
(i.e. only the graphics for the icon is lost) However, this is quite
spontanious, and the best explanation I've gotten so far is "They went
to the beach!".

But, since your problem is happening everytime, it sounds more like
a problem with the paths.
