Upgrade from Quickcad v6

Since Quickcad is going bye-bye, I was wondering if the 'upgrade' version of LT2005 would accept my current version of Quickcad? Or does it even check for a prior version of anything before installing? I don't want to buy the full on Autocad, or even the full price of LT. But I may have to get LT at some point seeing as Quickcad is done for.

LT upgrades require previous LT ownership within the version limitations running at the time (today, it's LT2000i and higher). Autodesk has never offered cross-upgrades outside AutoCAD to date. -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --
