Rotating In The Z-Axis

I have an object that I would like to rotate 90 degrees in the Z axis. Is this possible in AutoCAD LT98? How can I do so?

AutoCAD LT will always rotate around the current Z axis. The trick is
to use the UCS command and place the Z axis in such a way that you get
the rotation you want.

Rotate the UCS about the X axis 90o first. Then use rotate.
