Remove Menu Items AutoCad LT 2000

There are at least two items which I keep clicking inadvertently in the Dimension Drop Down menu:

Ordinate never used it and never will would like to delete

Also Tolerances

Any help with safest way to to remove these items from the Dimension menu

or at least disable/gray them out would be appreciated

Hi,

Are you talking about AC LT 2000? Are you sure?
If it is correct, than you have to edit .MNU file "by hand" in order to disable or remove some items in pull-down menus.

In your early version of LT the method is archaic and cumbersome but it can be done. You need to first find your active ACLT.MNS file (not MNU). Here is a good explanation of what you need to know (it is written for AutoCAD so substitute any reference of ACAD with ACLT):

Dean: Many Thanks; editing the .mns file did the deal

Of course - MNS, but not MNU file. With time everything is forgotten, and I forgot about one important thing: modifications to toolbars, made via AutoCAD interface saved not in MNU, but in MNS file.
