Raster image when moving

I've xref'ed a .jpg image of an aerial photo into an drawing file in which I've drawn lines representing the site's boundaries.  I'm trying to line certain features(property boundaries) of the aerial photo with the boundary lines i've drawn in autocad lt.  Whenever I click on the aerial image to move it to a certain location, the image disappears except for the image frame during the move command. Once I exit the move command, the aerial photo will re-appear.  Kind of dificult to line the aerial photo with the autocad lines when the photo is not visible.  I cant seem to find the command that will leave the photo  visible.  Can someone direct me to the right command/system variable setting?

I'll keep watching, but this discussion did not turn up an answer either:

LT version?
Windows version?
Does the "nudge" feature in current AutoCAD/LT versions ease the difficulties of lining up at all?

Using AutoCAD LT2015 on Windows 7 Professional.  I'm not familiar with the nudge feature.

It will be there, it started in 2012 versions. It's another method to bump things along at 3-pixel increments (your monitor's pixels). It's not 'precision' and in this case it would appear you don't need that. the further away you are zoomed out the biger the nudge, and closer you are to your objects the smaller the nudge. May or may not help here yuou decide.

There is not a way currently to keep the image visible during the move action. I can provide the feedback link for you to send this in as a suggestion for a future service pack or release.
