Why is it when i try to alter using properties command do i get "no
selection" when quite clearly the item or items i wish to alter are
highlighted.

When i use CHPROP command on command line i get no problems.

Any help would be appreciated as this has happened a few times now, and
previously i have had to reinstall program.

I have the same problem in Win95. I tryed to reinstall, but
the problem did remain the same.
I have the items highlighted and get "no selection" in the
top field in propertybar. Why?

I had the same problem after running Regclean.exe, downloaded from the
Microsoft web site. There are some AuotoCad LT entries in the registry
which Regclean thinks are errors and removes. This stops the Properties box
working. Undoing Regclean cures the problem or alternatively re-install LT.

It may be that other programs that fiddle with the registry can cause the
same thing to happen. I don't know if there is something unorthodox about
the LT registry entries that makes Regclean remove them.
