Point Clouds

Does AutoCAD LT have the capabilities to import and work with point clouds in fls. or rcp. format?

Welcome to the Forums

LT cannot import those formats, HOWEVER if the external program can export to DXF then you can open the point cloud in LT as a DXF

Point clouds typically deal with tens of thousands, if not millions, of points.  DXF isn't a realitic option for dealing with them, which is why there are solutions for AutoCAD such as ReCap and CloudWorx.  All of these require the full version of AutoCAD or an appropriate vertical.
