Plotter Roll size issue

I am unable to change or sellect the roll size for my HP design jet 5500 plotter in AutoCad 2011 LT.

All plots are limited by autocad to 24" wide setting. The plotter has a 36" roll on it and worked just fine with AutoCad 2004.

Help.

Other than the look of the pop-up dialog box, nothing has changed since 2004 when it comes to plotting.

So... did you used to use a PC3 file but not any more?

Did you also get a new PC, and you simply need to reset the Windows Driver? Or are you using some other driver?

Can you print from any other application in Windows to this plotter? If yes, can you change the paper size? If yes, then LT2011 (and wqell as AutoCAD 2004) can also do the same, as they both are Windows programs that can access Windows drivers just like all other Windows versions.

Repost and elaborate: your original post is light on details about your setup and choices of drivers old and current. Thanks.

Well, few weeks ago I had smiliar problem, because PC3 files were missing and user was unable to do any changes at plotter settings, such as custom paper sizes etc. It was solved simply by changing pc3 files patch in program options at Files tab.
