I installed ACADLT 2012. I am unable to find PFD design and symbols. I am not sure if LT comes with it or if needs to be downloaded separately as a separate package

There is no other symbols package to download, and LT only comes with sample symbols. What you see in ADCENTER and TOOLPALETTES are all that come with LT alone: you can find some additional 3rd party symbols through SEEK in LT.

You can also try Google to search for additional 3rd party symbols libraries you can purchase or acquire/subscribe to, depends on how they make them available.
