Hello,
I am new to CAD drawings. My requirements are (I think) pretty basic. I need to be able to open existing .dwg files, which will be floor plans of buildings, and add icons for showing locations of items to be installed on the floor plan.
It appears that AutoCAD LT is sufficient for my needs. Any opinions?
Also, how intuitive is the program? Do I need to take a training class? I'm farily computer savvy.
Any reccomendations or helpul advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Can Design Review do what the OP asks?

Yes, LT will definately be sufficient for what you describe. If you're using someone else's drawings then you don't really need to worry about initial setup as much of the information will be contained in the drawing file itself....from there, if you're computer savvy you can propabably figure things out based on what you say you want to do.
