I was wondering if it is possible to measure the total length of lines I have in one layer without using the measure tool on each individual line. In searching other posts a lot of answers reccomend using LISP. Since I am not familiar with LISP at all and haven't purchased the add on is there a simpler way using AutoCAD LT???
There is no other way for fast measuring.
You do not need to be familiar with lisp. Just follow the instructions to load the lisp file.
For Autocad 2010:
step 1: go to manage menu
step 2: user interface
step 3: lisp files
step 4: right mouse click - load lisp file (the one i attached)
step 5: type tleng
step 6: select the desired lines
step 7: receive the result
The latest lisp file for measuring all lines length is tleng.lsp. i attached it.
You cannot use lisp in LT.
