LT 2008 Crashes All the time

We upgraded our copy of LT2004 in March, because Autodesk made us, which we were quite happy with. Now we have LT 2008 and it's great!!!! So far we haven't been able to perform a single operation on any of a whole range of different DWG files before LT crashes (usually a few seconds after opening). We are using XP SP2 with 2GB RAM and these are not complex files - they opened fine on the 2004 version.

Any ideas/similar experiences folks. I'd hate to think that Autodesk had released a product that fundamentally just doesn't work it's so unstable.......

Seems to work fine here, but you provide no details on setup
or when/how errors are triggered or anything of use for
remote support.
