Import Data Table

I am a newer user to AutoCad LT, I was wondering what the best way to import an access DataBase to a drawing file which will enable me to link Data to blocks on the map.  I have done this with Map 3D in the past  but could not figure out the best way to do this with LT.

I see you can add an Excel Table but can you link the info from an excel sheet the same way you would an access data table?  I would prefer to use the access table if possible.  Any help would be appreciated.

LT is not MAP3D: the +$3000 discount has to come from somewhere... .
