Perhaps this is two problems but I am not sure so here is what is happening. I have a dwg with a background image path that is no longer valid. It is not apparent or not allowable to edit the path to the image file. So unable to edit the path, I detached the image and reattached it from the new path location. When I do this the image obscures all the preexisting lines in the drawing. Either I need help revising the path to external image or I need help to push the image to be behind the vectors.
Any help appreciated.

Should be a frame around the image.
Type in DRAWORDER at the command line (or select from a menu or ribbon) and select the frame around the image when prompted.
Send it to the back.

... or using DRAWORDER you bring everything else forward/on top of the image.
Where did you try to repath the image' location? LT version?
Yes, thanks for suggesting the Draworder command. I had tried it earlier but I must have done something wrong. It worked perfectly this time and I was able to reattach the image.
Problem solved.
Thank you for the help.

I've always found that if something doesn't look right, a regen normally puts it all back.
