Erratic cursor during move

I am running AutoCad LT 2014 and am experiencing an erratic cursor when using the move and copy commands. This only started to happen after a while of use and any resetting or restarting will not clear the problem. Instead of a smooth movement the cursor jumps.

I would appreciate some help on this.

Thanks

Peter

Is SNAP turned on? F9 keyboard key toggles it in and off, but it's only active while in a command in current versions of LT.
