Distorted fonts in imported Excel spreadsheets in 2000LT

Newbie here:
I occasionally need to insert a spreadsheet into
a drawing. I copy the part of the spreadsheet I want
in Excel to the clipboard with CTL+C, then in AutoCAD
use Paste Special, then Link, to insert the object
into my drawing. From hunting through the Autodesk
knowledgebase I see there's some restrictions about
the size of this (which is an OLE problem) but I'm
not exceeding this size. Just about every time, the
fonts are all blocky in the spreadsheet when I plot.
How do I overcome this? I'm not resizing it on the object
layer at all
Thanks

Right click on the OLE object, select Properties, and on the
bottom of the pop-up actually tell AutoCAD how you want the OLE object plotted:
in your case, LineArt or Text, not Graphics or Photograph.
