Dimensions moving

See video:

Happens with DIMASSOC set to 0, 1, or 2.

Same with EXTEND, TRIM, and FILLET

Noticed this on other files but never really paid attention to it.

This is the first time I have been Zoomed in near and witnessed and been able to recreate.

I did delete and redo the Dim's and they stay in place.

Any ideas? This has happened in multiple areas of this File.

Tried to get back to the original post 'cause I knew that qestion was coming:

LT 2014 SP1.

No, I meant did the file or dims start out in 2007-format? The fact that replacing them fixed it makes me question their origin. I know you're using LT2014 🙂

Nope, new original file from LT 2014 being saved as 2010 Format though.

The Template has been around for a while and updated several times, at least since 2002.

This is recent behavior that I have noticed.

How can I reproduce it? Quick test here in LT2014 with save set to 2010 did not do it (I also out if habit unchecked the two boxes below the save format location).

I suspect in the drawing, the DIMASSOC should be 1 or 2. I could reproduce it in this situation.
Could you provide the dwg file to us to invest deeply?

File Attached.

I did try all three DIMASSOC Settings before the original post.

In most cases where this happened I have deleted and replaced the Dimension String.

Extend the two short Red Lines next to the 2'8 X 5'6E window in this drawing.

Does the 7'-6" dimension jump to the left when you finish the Command? How about Fillet too?

It does here with DIMASSOC set to either 0,1,2

And this one. This is extremely annoying.

This happens in LT 2014, LT 2013 and AutoCAD 2014 so it must be Drawing specific.

And it is now happening across several drawings so it must be Dim Style specific?

And across different Dimstyles so it must be...?

There must be an answer. I have not added any additional software or updates.

More rambling...

Or is this just one of those Variables that I updated without knowing and am seeing proper behaviour but just not what I have ever seen in the past?

It must be DIMASSOC needs to be 1 and somewhere along the way I set it to 2 in my Template.

Let's give that a go for a while and see what happens.
